Mindful Fathering Program – Next Group Start on September 26, 2019

Developed by Yorktown Family Services, Mindful Fathering is a 14-week psycho-educational group program for fathers who have exposed their children, of any age, to intimate partner violence. Welcoming men of all backgrounds, orientations and cultures, this evidence-informed, early intervention program helps fathers learn to reduce harm, improve mental health, and make positive changes in their lives and their relationships with children and women.

Baby Love

Baby Love is an attachment-based program for parents and caregivers of children from 2 months to 12 months. This program is supported by Dr. J. Wittenberg who designed and developed the Baby Love program at SickKids Hospital. Caregivers will learn about their babies’ minds, learn how to help their babies feel secure, and learn how to help their babies deal with stress. Babies who are secure have better relationships, learn better in school, have better physical and mental health.

Youth Walk-in Counselling @ West Toronto Youth Hub

In partnership with Unison Community Health Centre, we are pleased to announce that starting Tuesday, September 18th, 2018 the West Toronto Youth Hub will be launching a series of new programs starting with a counselling walk-in clinic that will open two days per week.

The Youth Mentorship Program provides youth (Mentees) access to a consistent, caring adult (Mentor) who supports them in achieving goals and outcomes related to employment/entrepreneurship, educational achievement and/or civic engagement/leadership.

Urban Tele-Mental Health Services at Yorktown

We are pleased to announce our OTN & Urban Tele-Mental Health Service at Yorktown. Tele Mental Health is a referral base service that provides easy access to psychiatric assessment and consultations for families with infants, children and youth between the ages of 0-18 years old across the GTA region.
