Yorktown Family Services is a community-based nonprofit social services agency dedicated to providing transitional housing to abused women and their children, and effective, accessible, quality mental health treatment, prevention and out-reach services to children, youth, women and families. We are uniquely organized to deliver services through two independent but integrated organizations: Yorktown Child and Family Centre – a children’s mental health centre, and Yorktown Shelter for Women – a shelter for women and their children who are fleeing an abusive relationship. Yorktown is known for its dedicated commitment to professional service delivery standards and for its innovative program offerings that respond to the changing needs of the community. Yorktown is a vital community resource for thousands of children, youth, women and families in Toronto’s west end.
