What’s Up Walk-In®
What’s Up Walk-In is a rapid access to therapy service. This service is available without appointment during designated times across the City of Toronto through a network of child and youth mental health agencies. Therapists work from a single-session solution-focused model building on client skills and resources to achieve results quickly. There is no fee for service.
Yorktown Family Services is a member of the What’s Up Walk-in city-wide network of partners offering immediate access to mental health services. Yorktown’s What’s Up Walk-in is based at our West Toronto Youth Wellness Hub and serves ages 0 to 29 as well as families and caregivers of children and youth.
Clients can connect with a Therapist in person at the What’s Up Walk-in from Monday to Friday, no appointments are required; first come first served. Registration closes 1 hour and 30 minutes before closing time. Virtual therapy sessions are available on Saturdays.
Yorktown also has a partnership with Centre Francophone du Grant Toronto for a walk-in counselling service at their 555 Richmond Street West location every Monday from 1pm to 4pm, and will be partnering with St. Jamestown for a walk-in 5 days a week at The Corner starting in October of 2024.
To learn more about how to access counselling in-person through the What’s Up Walk-in or virtually, please call 416-669-3521.
