Referrals are made from external partners such as police and child welfare agencies. The WESAT coordinator reviews the referrals and sends them to agencies such as Yorktown.

Trauma Treatment

Yorktown is part of the West End Services for Abuse and Trauma (WESAT), a network of agencies that provide evidenced based treatment to children, youth and their families who have experienced trauma. Therapist conduct an assessment, and can then provide Trauma-Focused CBT or other evidence informed practice to support the client’s recovery and growth towards their preferred future.

LGBTQ+ positive space. Clients cannot directly refer into this program, they should attend a walk-in.

Upcoming Closures:

Yorktown Family Services will be closing our offices early for an All Staff Event on Friday, December 19th, 2025 at 11am.

All programs and services including our Rapid Access Therapy and What’s Up Walk-in will be cancelled that day.

Regular business hours will resume on Monday, December 22nd, 2025.

Virtual Rapid Access Therapy will still be available on Saturday, December 20th, 2025.
