Ready, Set, School
Ready, Set, School is a 9-10 session planned psycho educational workshops for parents/ caregivers of children who will be starting school for the very first time. The workshops are intended to bring awareness of how to best support children during this transition through knowledge of literacy, routines, limit setting, self-regulation/ co-regulation, managing parent & child stress and separation anxiety in regards to starting school for the first time.
Program Includes:
- Opportunity to experience a classroom like setting every morning for 2 weeks as they explore kindergarten activities and play.
- Develop social/emotional skills, self-help skills, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving and self regulation skills.
- Parent and caregiver educational workshops on how to best support children to be successful at school, help with separation before school and self-care.
