Parenting Wisely

Parenting Wisely is offered in a group based program with an interactive online learning component. Parenting Wisely is designed for families with children from ages 7 to 18 years, specifically to those in the former City of York and the West end of Toronto.

The goal of Parenting Wisely is to strengthen families and enhance the development and well-being of children. The long-term goal of Parenting Wisely is to promote healthy child development. Topics addressed include: child development, parent-child interactions and bonding, parenting techniques, conflict, problem-solving, and communication. When resources permit, children’s skill building groups run in conjunction with the parenting program.

Our next session of Parenting Wisely will starts on October 7th, 2026.  Participants can attend all weeks or pick and choose topics most relevant to them, including: relationship building, parenting techniques, self-care, child development, communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

Includes children’s activity and skill building group for children ages 8 to 12.

Light meal at 5:30pm; Presto tokens provided
