A pre-interview and intake is required prior to starting group

10 week in-person Group  start on April 30th, 2024

Sessions Per Year:

Three series per year, Fall, Winter, and Spring. 10 weeks for each series, 30 weeks of the year.

Service Duration:

10 weeks per series

  • Translation Services available

Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm


Location for in-person group session will be provided at registration.

Here To Help

Yorktown Family Services delivers Here To Help a group program that provides a supportive environment for women, children, and youth exposed to family violence. The group provides a safe and supportive environment for mothers and children to talk about the violence they have experienced, and helps families process their emotions together.

Our next  10-week session of Here To Help Virtual Family Connection will start on February 6th 2024. Here to Help Virtual Family Connection is our virtual offering where children and their moms participate together through a group video conference format on Tuesdays, from 6:15pm to 7:30pm. Registration by phone is required; webinar link/phone-in will be provided for virtual group upon registration.

Our next 10-week in-person Here to Help starts on April 30th, 2024, and will run on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Registration by phone is required; location of in-person group will be provided at registration.
