Rainbow West
Program Description:
The Rainbow West Program is a 2SLGBTQ+ youth program, for ages 12-29 offered in West Toronto. Through this program youth have an opportunity to access mental health supports, dedicated to responding to their unique needs while accessing an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for youth who identify as queer/trans. Youth can engage in drop-in programming, one to one mental health services, youth-led initiatives, and help inform program activities.
Program Objectives:
- Introduce 2SLGBTQ+ youth programming in West Toronto
- Increase access to appropriate and relevant mental health services for youth who identify as 2SLGBTQ+
- Provide suitable interventions to address social emotional challenges
- Support service coordination needs in areas of academics, employment, housing, substance use/mental health, sexual health, social connections, and other life domain areas.
