Free Walk-In Mental Health Counselling

No fee. No appointment. No Health Card.

Immediate mental health counselling for children, youth, young adults and their families, and families with infants is available at the Yorktown Family Services Walk-in Clinic.

No issue is too small or too big. We can help.

What’s Up Walk-In®

The What’s UP Walk-In is a brief therapy service that is accessible without appointment during designated times across the City of Toronto.

clinic hours

  • 1:30pm – 6pm
    (last session 4:30 pm)
  • 10am – 3pm(last session 1:30 pm)
  • 2pm – 8pm(last session 6:30 pm)

The last appointment starts ONE and half hour prior to the end of clinic hours.

If you’re a young person, come see us if you’re:

  • feeling sad, worried or angry
  • having fights with your parents
  • being bullied
  • dealing with a personal issue
  • feeling like you might hurt yourself
  • suffering because someone has hurt you
  • feeling like you are being treated unfairly

Or if there’s anything else on your mind

If you’re a parent, come see us if you’re:

  • concerned about your child’s development
  • constantly arguing with your child or young person
  • concerned about your child’s school progress

Or if there’s anything else on your mind

If you need any type of special support to participate or require a support person accompanying someone to our services, they are most welcome. Please contact HR at ext. 222.

Should you require services in a language other than English, Yorktown offers immediate telephone interpretation at our walk-in clinic.

 

Please note that office will be closing early at 11:00 am. on Friday, December 6, 2019 for an agency event. In addition, there will be no Walk -in service on that day. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, December 9, 2019.  Thank You!
