A pre-interview and intake is required prior to starting group

Fall Session:  10 Week In Person, Tuesdays from September 30th to December 2nd, 2025

Winter Session: coming in 2026, dates to be determined.

Sessions Per Year:

Three series per year, Fall, Winter, and Spring. 10 weeks for each series, 30 weeks of the year.

Service Duration:

10 weeks per series

Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Location:

Location for in-person group session will be provided at registration.

Here To Help

Yorktown Family Services delivers Here To Help a group program that provides a supportive environment for women, children, and youth exposed to family violence. The group provides a safe and supportive environment for mothers and children to talk about the violence they have experienced, and helps families process their emotions together.

The next in-person session of Here to Help will run in the Fall, on Tuesdays from September 30th to December 2nd, 2025.

Upcoming Schedule Change:

Please note that the What's Up Walk-in located at St. James Town Community Corner (200 Wellesley St. East) will have revised hours from 2pm to 8pm (last registration at 6:30pm) on the following Wednesdays:

  • Wednesday, October 29th
  • Wednesday, November 5th
  • Wednesday, November 12th
  • Wednesday, November 19th
  • Wednesday, November 26th

Regular Wednesday hours resume on: December 3rd, 2026.
