Baby Love

Baby Love is a group format, evidence based preventive intervention program of attachment theory, designed and supported by Dr. J. Wittenberg at Hospital for Sick Children. Baby Love supports parents and caregivers in strengthening their attachment relationship with their infants and emphasizes the importance of feelings of security, reflective capacity and sensitive caregiving behaviours through 12 sessions offered weekly. Parents / Caregivers who have infants from birth to 14 months of age are welcome to attend the program. Infants also participate in the program. Each Parent / Caregiver is given an Attachment Knowledge and Attitudes Questionnaire both pre and upon completion of the 12 sessions as a post measure to understand program impact.

Baby Love is now being offered Virtually through an online group platform (Webex invitations will be provided) .

Our next virtual session will run for 6 weeks from  October 21st to November 25th, 2020. The group will run on Wednesday mornings from 10am to 11:30am.
