Baby Love
Baby Love is a group format, evidence based preventive intervention program of attachment theory, designed and supported by Dr. J. Wittenberg at Hospital for Sick Children. Baby Love supports parents and caregivers in strengthening their attachment relationship with their infants and emphasizes the importance of feelings of security, reflective capacity and sensitive caregiving behaviours through 12 sessions offered weekly. Parents / Caregivers who have infants from 2 months to 14 months of age are welcome to attend the program. Infants also participate in the program. Each Parent / Caregiver is given an Attachment Knowledge and Attitudes Questionnaire both pre and upon completion of the 12 sessions as a post measure to understand program impact.
