COVID-19 Updates

Our top priority is to ensure the health and well-being of our community. We are closely monitoring developments related to the pandemic and will continue to update our community.

We are currently offering Walk-in Rapid Access Therapy services at the West Toronto Youth Hub, 5 days a week.

Virtual Rapid Access Therapy, available by phone and webinar sessions, is also available during walk-in hours, with limited sessions available.

If you need any type of special support to participate or to have access to our materials, please contact Human Resources at 416-394-2424 ext. 222. Support persons to clients are most welcome. Should you require services in a language other than English, interpretation services can be arranged.

Walk-in Rapid Access Therapy Service Hours:

Rapid Access Therapy is now offering Walk-in services, Monday to Friday, at the West Toronto Youth Hub located at the Jane Street Hub, 1541 Jane St., North York.

Please note registration closes 1 hour 30 minutes prior to the end of service hours.

No appointment necessary; first come, first served. COVID-19 pre-screening form will be completed on arrival. Face masks are required for all in-person sessions; masks are available upon request.

Monday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday* 10:00 am & 12:00 pm

*Saturday by virtual appointment only; to book call 416-669-3521 by Friday at 3:30 pm.

Virtual Rapid Access Therapy Service Hours:

Limited virtual sessions are available, Monday to Friday, during walk-in hours (see above). Please call 416-669-3521 to book your time. Registration closes 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to end of service hours; calls made after that time will be booked for the following day.

Rapid Access Therapy is also available on Saturdays, by virtual appointment only, at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Please call to book by Friday at 3:30 p.m.

Holiday Closure

Yorktown Family Services will be closed for the holidays as of
Thursday, Dec 23rd, 2021 at 5pm

Rapid Access Counselling and other programs and services will be on break during this time.

We will re-open for normal business hours as of Tuesday, Jan 4, 2022

Service Delivery Update

In order to ensure the health and safety of the communities we serve, we are currently offering the option to access all programs virtually, as well as in-person Walk-in Rapid Access Therapy at the West Toronto Youth Hub.

Yorktown Family Services follows all Public Health PPE guidelines, and pre-screening forms are required prior to in-person services. Masks are to be worn, and social distancing measures followed, at all times.

Yorktown Family Service will continue to work within Public Health guidelines. Please check back for updates to any changes in our service delivery as they become available.

Please note that while we continue to provide Rapid Access Therapy, Yorktown Family Services is currently experiencing staffing shortages. As a result, wait times may be longer than expected and closures may occur. We regret the inconvenience to our clients and service partners. Updates will be provided as they occur.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for mental health services has increased dramatically. Yorktown Family Services is experiencing a wait-list of up to six months for Ongoing Family Therapy.
