Executive Director

Yorktown Family Services is a community-based nonprofit social services agency dedicated to providing effective, accessible, quality mental health treatment, prevention and outreach services to children, youth, women and families in the west end of Toronto. We are uniquely organized to deliver services through two independent but integrated organizations: Yorktown Child and Family Centre - an accreditated childrens mental health centre, and Yorktown Shelter for Women - a shelter for women and their children who are fleeing an abusive relationship.

Known for its commitment, excellence, diversity and innovation, Yorktown has an established reputation among funders, community members and organizations. We are looking for a leader with vision and passion, commitment to both the childrens mental health and woman abuse sectors and an in depth knowledge of and experience in the policy issues and funding context. The successful candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker and will build on the high quality teams that currently provide service in the two agencies. He/she will be a dynamic and inspiring leader who will provide clarity and vision and work with integrity and team spirit. He/she will bring years of experience working with government and other funders with a demonstrated ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships with funding representatives.
